URBAN LAND ART - a concept for a park in Finland

Land Art in the urban environment

URBAN LAND ART - a concept sketches for a land fill
The promenade is one kilometer long - a perpendicular piazza meets it at its center - a park as an urban land art project in Kajaani, Finland.

Along the length of the promenade and lining piazza on the right are two rows of evenly spaced trees - like a colonnade. That way the two forest segments relate to classical architecture. To strengthen this urban effect I suggest shearing the foliage of the trees along a straight line regularly.
