of Sequoias
The gigantic size of the Giant Sequoia was a very impressive thing for me - back in the fifties, when my parents were preparing our emigration, family of our sponsor (the Zwijnenburg family from Ameide) gave me a View-Master with pictures of the Giant Sequoias. This may have been in 3D, but actually walking between them was a revelation. And in the present time there is a much better understanding about preservation than during the times presented on my old View-Master disks.
