LAND ART - public lecture at zlgevents courtyard - Kuala Lumpur environmental sculpture - bridge as envirnmental sculpture in Dirksland the Netherlands

Concrete retaining walls were necessary to keep the water from the roads under the bridge. The canal is very old and not straight. So it was necessary to take various bends into account. Instead of following the course of the canal I kept the various walls parallel and solved the differences by placing perpendicular walls. I varied the heights and thicknesses and differentiated the various elements further by painting them in a primary color scheme. In the top of the photo is the dike section.
