Ede | my site specific sculptures revisited

A site specific environment was the wish of the arts committee of Ede.

Back in 1989 the city of Ede commissioned me to make a proposal for an environment in the Rietkampen, a new district of the city. One of the main channels is the old creek, Polderhoefsewetering. Other channels and creeks are the Hoekelumsebeek, Luntersebeek and Barneveldse Beek. These small watercourses have sometimes been rerouted or were even moved. This one remained where it was over a distance of a few hundred meters - up to the large reservoir in the Riekampen Center.

The row of Bald Cypresses, or swamp cypresses (Taxodium Distichum) leads the eye to the center area of the De Rietkampen Center of the city Ede.
