POAM sculpture parkgravitation - stainless steelGravitation came back into the possession of the sculptor after the Chamber of Commerce, for which it was made, in Dordrecht Holland closed its doors. It became part of the Rotterdam Chamber of commerce. The sculpture was dumped in a more or less neglected public area which used to be part of gardens in back of the historical Wijnstraat houses. It must have been luck that the sculpture was in an upright position with the concrete foundation blocks still attached and visible. For a few years the sculpture stood in this public garden close to the original location. After this period the city of Dordrecht, which was not actually the owner of the sculpture, contacted the sculptor to ask what to do with it. The solution was obvious. visit the POAM sculpture park website |
