SATELLITE SCULPTURE IMAGES

Vaasa, Finland - its sculpture seen from the satellite - a satellite view of a sculpture installed in the Fisherman's Bay (Onkilahti) in Vaasa Finland.

Veera - 1997|1999 painted (RAL2002) steel - 424x849x424cm Vaasa Finland

After installing my Opening the Arctic Circle in Kemijärvi Finland in the beginning of the nineties, I received a commission to do a site specific work for the city of Vaasa on the west coast. Though, seen from above, the size of the sculpture is is only six by six meters, the satellite image shows it quite clearly just above the center of the picture.
