Opening the Arctic Circle is an example of a stainless steel tubular sculpture installed on an lawn in Kemijärvi, Finland. All my works have underground concrete foundations which are not visible. It is always very important for me that my sculptures are installed in such a way that they seem to be standing on the ground - without intermediate forms.
