Found art, or objet trouvé - environmental art "Roeselare Round"

Roeselare Round - pollard willow circle in Roeselare, Belgium 25|10|2009 - 50°55'13.20"N  3°10'12.17"E

This White Willow Circle is a readymade Land Art project which is in line with my own environmental sculpture projects, which I have been making since the late sixties of the last century. Like my willow projects, these have been pollarded every three years. In this way the characteristic form of the pollard willows remains constant - in the cycle of pollarding and growing back every few years.
