Linear Sculpture - Sculpture in Lines

After have made various proposals for urban land art projects, the town of Capelle aan den IJssel decided not to proceed because the land had been sold to a project developer. Instead they asked me to make a proposal for a sculpture along the street, at the entrance to both schools.

A loop and movement in stainless steel.
A stainless steel loop forms the contour of a virtual hyperbolic paraboloid.

Making only the contour of a form gives it a lightness which is strengthened from one of the viewpoints when the sculpture seems to be standing on one point.
