Linear Sculpture - Sculpture in Lines

Spatial curves pass through a 90° angle at the four corners.
halved ring with rotated arcs - the title JFK refers to the name of the school

The two half-circles are joined at a ninety degree angle. It follows the same principle as my sculpture opening the arctic circle in Finnish Lapland, which is balanced in the position it would naturally assume. In this case the sculpture follows the position which the perpendicular planes, in which the circles lie, would assume. In that way it looks more geometrically pragmatic than its counterpart in Finland which appears to be more poetic.
