LAND ART

land art project Urban Oasis

Dutch urban LAND ART in Ede - arched footbridge - 'Urban Oasis' - Bald Cypress trees (Taxodium Distichum), water, concrete and color.

From the surrounding urban area one looks down into the oasis. I gave the encompassing structural elements the primary colors red and yellow, together with dark gray. The red is RAL 2002, a vermillion-like color, which is a natural contrast with the summer color of the Swamp Cypress trees and the green slopes. In the autumn this color harmonizes with the orange-brown foliage of the Swamp Cypresses.
