LAND ART

land art project Urban Oasis

Dutch urban LAND ART in Ede - arched footbridge - 'Urban Oasis' - Bald Cypress trees (Taxodium Distichum), water, concrete and color.

In my site specific projects and my land art, I look for the possibilities of contrast; here I sublimated the various building styles and architectural forms surrounding the site and defined the land art project by partly enclosing it with orthogonally places rectangular planes. The diagonal row of Swamp Cypresses bisects the ninety degree angle between the concrete planes, and forms a natural boundary on the west side of the site.
