Highway art - art in the road environment

Land art as earthen noise barriers (seen from road level).
The A15 - where the highway passes by the city of Tiel.

Since there are often drainage ditches along highways in the Dutch polder landscape, it is a serendipitous aid to further delineate the curving mound and to help define its meandering foot so that we can experience the piece as distinguishing itself from the horizontal surface, while the grass, covering both ties them together.
