Artworks from the Stedelijk depot, replicas, ordinary objects and materials are brought together in unexpected ways in a seemingly improvised fashion, resulting in unexpected correlations. I was asked if my small bronze "discoid form, point" could be used by the artist for this installation. In the photo above it is placed in the recess of the Donald Judd chair, behind a yellow transparent acrylic sheet - somewhat reminiscent of Don's use of acrylic in his work. Having known him I wonder what his reaction would be. As far as I'm concerned my sculpture is in good company.
