Donald Judd

Dinner with Donald Judd and friends at Eichholtern, Küssnacht am Rigi.

Don Judd's worktable upstairs in the old Eichholtern hotel.

Don's makeshift studio upstairs lets him continue his work while plans for the transformation of the building are being made. In the front here is one of the three Parana pine and painted metal pews (from the Hoeksteen Church, Uithoorn, the Netherlands, ca. 1963) which Don and I had traded for his works.

When he was to receive the Sikkens award in Holland in 1993, he posed on one of his Rietveld benches.
