George Hendrik Breitner - (1857-1923)

George Hendrik Breitner (mannelijk naakt) - oil painting - painter photographer - 1857-1923.
George Hendrik Breitner - male nude - oil painting on canvas - 54x81cm.

During the late sixties of the last century I bought this painting at an auction in Dordrecht, Holland. In 1969 P.H. (Paul) Hefting was writing G. H. Breitner in zijn Haagse tijd (The Hague period). He contacted me and came from the Kröller-Müller Museum, where he was curator at the time, to see and photograph the painting for the publication.
