CITIES - sculptures and land art

Terneuzen

Terneuzen - Zeeuws Vlaanderen NL - These cultivated trees are typical for the Dutch rural landscape.
witte wieven - pollard willows ellipse - 1980|1984 - willows (Salix Alba) - GAB Terneuzen NL

Pollard willows are typical knotted trees in the Dutch landscape. By introducing them into the urban area they can evoke the feeling of being closer to nature and bring you into a different state of mind, which is one of the things that art can do. Where Vincent van Gogh painted his pollard willows, I try to do that by using the actual objects.
