Ridderkerk

The elliptical segments of the red construction are connected to the four by four meter square steel plate in such a way that their combined contour forms a three dimensional curve in space. The thickness of the steel plates - of four centimeters - gives the sculpture enough material volume to rise above a mere enlargement of a paper cut-out.
