Papendrecht
In the city of Papendrecht in The Netherlands two of den Arend's sculptures have been installed. The most recent one is 2.2.3d.2. which was loaned by the city of Zwijndrecht to the neighboring city Papendrecht in 2008.
It moved from the Zwijndrecht town hall to the sculpture park which the sculptor created between 1990 and 1996 - OPAM, Sculpture Park Drecht Banks in the Drecht Cities in the center of Holland. With this sculpture the OPAM Sculpture Park has officially crossed the river Noord and with this the sculptors initial idea to project the sculpture park along more than forty kilometers of riverbanks of the cities Alblasserdam, Dordrecht, Hendrik Ido Ambacht, Papendrecht, Sliedrecht and Zwijndrecht has made its start.
