Land Art in Lelystad

The chief government architect of The Netherlands commissioned Lucien den Arend to make a proposal for an earth work for the Test Circuit and Test center of the National Road and Transport Department in Lelystad a new town in the Flevo Polder - in the old Zuiderzee (later IJsselmeer).
