CITIES - sculptures and land art

Every year snow symposiums take place around the world. Lucien den Arend had participated in other winter resorts' snow symposiums and contests. ''In 1990 in the French Alpine town of Briançon, my colleague, Wim Smits, joined my wife Marjo and me, to participate in its snow symposium. In Briançon we made a construction of blocks, all carved out of one cube of course.''
