Arch a sculpture near Rotterdam in old Rhoon

"Arch" a sculpture near Rotterdam in old Rhoon (Albrandswaard).
Projecting or scaling the sculpture into the site near Poortugaal.

The first possibility in finding a site for the sculpture was in Rhoon was at the Schroeder van der Kolklaan, a country road which was to be the access road to a housing area and later to the municipal sports center. Next to a maquette, which I was building, I would need more visual material to give the advisory committee an idea of the impact my sculpture would have on its surroundings.

Having see the sculpture almost realized years later, I now see that the model in the photograph could have been projected larger by distancing myself further from the site when taking the picture. It would have been about a third larger. Looking towards the town of Poortugaal ....
