Zwijndrecht Discoid Form 3

At the beginning of his career, Lucien den Arend combined organic natural shapes with mechanical, man made, forms like in this case a propeller blade. The actual start was his experimentation with the contour of a hole when it is twisted, deforming the surrounding material.
