Zoetermeer
In the
projected new part of the city of Zoetermeer, in The Netherlands - Buytenwegh De
Leyens, Lucien den Arend made six concrete sculptures comprised of two groups -
one with three concave elements and one with two convex ones.

"These two convex sculptures have now been painted green(!) by the present board of the school. This is not actually in accordance with the copyright laws, but sometimes it is very difficult to make a point of everything that happens to public sculpture. I let the school know that I don't agree with the color, and expect that they will get sick of it pretty soon. When that moment arrives, I requested them to paint the sculptures in the same color as the three concave sculptures on the other side of the school building."
