Den Haag
The city of Den Haag in Holland chose Lucien
den Arend's design to be realized in the new housing area - the Molenwijk - Zuid.
Three artists made proposals. The one presented by Lucien den Arend was
selected. The housing project was designed for people who had to move from
another part of the town which was to be demolished. These people saw to it that
the work was demolished by the city.
