demolished and removed works
"For different reasons in the last seven years various works have been removed and some demolished. None of them really had to go. It is used to the advantage of politics. Being art minded should be a prerequisite to succeed in politics. To be popular with the public some politicians give in to apparent public opinion, even if one is aware of the actual situation. Art in Holland is a disposable matter.
At the moment two monumental works have come into my possession again, thanks to our copyright legislation - the copyright law of 1912. For these two works I was looking for a new home between 2000 and 2006. One has been destroyed by the town of Zaanstad and the other will be installed in Rhoon, Albrandswaard in Holland in 2007."
