Françoise

The original title pc3f was changed to Françoise as a tribute to Françoise van den Bosch a sculptor colleague of Lucien den Arend who died too early at the age of 33 in 1977. She had taken a particular liking to this work. Their friendship and mutual respect for each other's work did not have enough time to mature.

In this photograph Françoise is shown in the gardens of the Municipal Museum of The Hague Holland. It was on loan to the museum for ten years (1978-1988) together with monolinear planes, junction. The sculpture is presently on loan to the city of Kajaani Finland.
